Keith & Julie – Manor House Hotel
A wee trip back to the Manor House Hotel is always welcome – and even better when you have a couple like Keith & Julie!
So here’s a few photos. Before we go any further, I’d like to point out I’ve resisted posting any photos of shoes – the therapy must be working
Now to the church – love the shot of Keith’s Granny..
I always take a look around the back of churches – you never know what you’ll find. Came across this nice window – wasn’t sure which photo was best so here are all 4:
And now for the Manor House:
Love both of the next two:
And finally, the room looked class!

Paul & Wendy – Harvey’s Point Donegal
Nicky & Arron – Park Avenue Hotel
Nicky & Arron are from Stockport direction – but decided to get married in N.Ireland due to some historical connections with this wee place. It is indeed true – where else would you want to get married?
Was a really fun day – here’s some photos..
Below: love the background for the flowers:
Below: Don’t often feature the ushers on here – but couldn’t resist these two

Loving the bus..

Nicky & Arron wanted a few photos in front of Stormont. Not totally sure if the next one is what they had in mind ![]()

David & Clare – Merchant Hotel
Another wedding at the lovely Merchant Hotel. I might have gone a wee bit OTT with the number of photos in this blog post! Its just not too often I get to do city centre photos – and urban photography was after all how I started.
Here’s a few photos:

Now over to the Cathedral Quarter…really like both of these:

Love this next one – have one as well with a jogger in it – think he got quite a surprise!
Off to the Theatre….
Well now for something completely different!
Tonight I’m off to the theatre to watch The Fringe Benefits Theatre Company’s productions of ‘The Man With a Flower in His Mouth’ and ‘Lovers – Winners, Losers’.
It was great fun to have some of the cast along to the studio a few weeks back to take some publicity photos. Here’s just a few!
Below: a bed, a drunk man and a religious women – definitely never had this combination in the studio before…

Make sure not to miss the various performances by the Theatre Company – coming up in the next few weeks!
Jonathan & Kelly – Lisburn Civic Centre and The Lamon
I hadn’t taken a lot of photos in the grounds of Lisburn Civic Centre before, so it was nice to have that opportunity – variety is the spice of life as they say. My lasting memory of this wedding is the colour pink!! Kelly really loves pink. Funny how the wall in the house was pink – the bridesmaids are pink and even the photo of the first dance has pink lighting
Here’s a few photos, starting with a wee picture of the car driving up the yard – taken through an upstairs window…

Below – no Mother of the Bride should be without a survival kit!
Quite like this picture from the service:
Below: looking good!
Sean & Louise – Galgorm Resort & Spa
It doesn’t seem that long since I met Sean & Louise at a wedding fayre – and now they are married!! The church was just up the road a bit for me, then down to the lovely Galgorm.
Here’s a few wee photos!
Then we headed off to the church in Finaghy….

Its kinda hard to describe the decor of the church. Its a little 70′s, a little 80′s – almost a little Art Decor or something. Anyway, given that the Irish weather was doing it’s thing we took a few indoors – I think they are pretty interesting!
Very pleased with this next one (its not often I say that):

The river was really raging at the Galgorm which made for a nice backdrop. This is the moment that Louise’s umbrella went for a little white water rafting ride..:-)

Niall & Ruth – Jacksons, Ballybofey
I met Ruth & Niall at Niall’s brothers wedding a few years ago – so was looking forward to seeing everyone again. The wedding was in Strabane followed by Jacksons in Ballybofey…
Here’s a few photos:
Below: never blog while hungry!

We went from bright sun at the church to really heavy rain! But Ruth & Niall grabbed an umbrella to get a few shots outside..

Very much like the next one:
Peter & Laura – Culloden Belfast
It was a real treat to sit down and edit these photos. Brings back memories of a nice, warm day and a great couple…
I’ll talk you through the photos, starting at the brides house…

One of the most exciting parts of a wedding for me is often when the bride comes down the stairs in her dress for the first time..

Below: It’s not only the bride and groom who have a big job!

Below: Like both these shots from the church:
Below: Now to the beach just below the Culloden:

The next two are new shots I was trying out -

Below: check out the bikes!:
So I’ve been at this from before the crack of dawn – so allow me to indulge myself for a moment
