The weather wasn’t being too kind, so instead of the Country Park we decided to go straight to the Crawfordsburn Inn. Of course, as soon as we made that decision the clouds cleared for a moment or two and we got some outdoor stuff  - even got the car hood down!

The weather may have been wild – but it was a really nice wedding. I knew me and Stacey would get on ok when I saw the red poster on her wall:

The red against white is really striking – perfect for this time of year. The room at the Galgorm was beautifully decorated – really amazing.

Anytime Claire & Neil are together there’s fireworks! Neil organised these as a surprise. So how did he lure everyone outside at 8pm in freezing temperatures? He told them the photographer was taking a group photo! They must have thought I was a complete plunker – but shortly thereafter all was revealed!

Robert & Fiona’s wedding was great. Its strange how when you are enjoying a wedding it hardly seems like work at all. Castle Leslie is a great venue too – this was the first time I had been there in winter..

Ok so lets start with the brides preparations. You will notice I had been doing so well at not posting shoe pictures on the blog. Fiona has gone and ruined that – back to shoe therapy

Good bridesmaids can really make the day. They can be a real help and provide lots of banter! Don’t really show many bridesmaids photos on the blog, so for a change I thought I’d show you all three!    

The next one makes me laugh

So by now it was getting fairly late and growing darker by the moment. It was kinda cold so I thought my outdoor photos had come to a close. Thing is, I hadn’t been down to the boat house which is my fave location at Castle Leslie. So I gave the guys the options of indoor photos or  boathouse – and amazed when Fiona wanted the boathouse! Happy days, and hopefully these next photos where worth the extra 10mins in the cold

I need to take the studio Christmas tree down today . Editing Conan & Stephanie’s wedding didn’t help – it was a wee reminder of Christmas and that season.

Gary & Eithna’s day was great craic. They got married just a few miles from where my wife used to live – all the best women must come from there . And great to be back in Corick House too!

Lots of smiles! Thats the impression we got from the photos while editing them this week – lots of people enjoying themselves! The weather was very kind for this time of year – and lots of lovely wee details. Oh, and the first wedding with a Fiat 500 as the wedding car!
